Simu Liu Confirms Shang-Chi 2 Is Happening

Simu Liu has confirmed that a sequel to 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' is 'definitely happening,' reassuring fans who were concerned about the project's future due to a lack of updates from Marvel. In an interview, Liu stated that while many details are beyond his purview, he is excited about the sequel. He is currently starring in 'Jackpot!', an action comedy directed by Paul Feig, which reunites him with his Shang-Chi co-star Awkwafina. In 'Jackpot!', Liu plays a character with ulterior motives who competes for lottery winnings in a dystopian future. He described being cast as Shang-Chi as a life-changing 'jackpot moment,' akin to winning the lottery multiple times. 'Jackpot!' is available for streaming on Prime Video starting August 15.
