He shared that he enjoys having weekends off for the first time in his adult life and is preparing to film a new ITV show, The Box. Despite his departure from the BBC, Lineker stated he never felt "cancelled," attributing the incident to a mistake and oversight. His win also came amidst a ceremony featuring other notable moments, including comedian Michael McIntyre's acceptance of the Bruce Forsyth entertainment award.
