Small Plane Strikes Tree, Crashes in Pembroke Pines

A small plane crashed Sunday night in a Pembroke Pines neighborhood just east of North Perry Airport, resulting in four people being hospitalized with minor injuries. The Cessna T337G, arriving from Turks and Caicos, struck a tree about a mile from the runway before crashing for reasons still under investigation by the NTSB. All four occupants—one pilot and three passengers—exited safely and were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, with one classified as Trauma Level 1 and the others as Level 2, though all injuries were minor.
