Army Beats Louisiana Tech 27-6 in Bowl

Bryson Daily led No. 19 Army to a 27-6 victory over Louisiana Tech in the Independence Bowl, rushing for 127 yards and three touchdowns, which set a new FBS record for touchdowns by a quarterback in a single season with 32. Army concluded its season with a program-best 12 wins, finishing 12-2 overall, and demonstrated their rushing strength by accumulating 321 yards on the ground against a depleted Louisiana Tech team. Hayden Reed contributed significantly with 114 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Army controlled the game with over 40 minutes of possession. The Bulldogs, who were a late replacement for Marshall, managed only 49 rushing yards and struggled offensively. Daily's performance not only surpassed Navy's Keenan Reynolds' previous record of 31 touchdowns but also placed him high on the all-time NCAA single-season chart, trailing only a few notable players.
