Vir Das made history as the first Indian to host the International Emmy Awards, held in New York City. Known for his comedic prowess, he referenced the infamous Oscar slap incident during his monologue, garnering laughter from the audience. Vir's attire was a significant highlight, as he chose a Delhi-based designer, Shubhangi Bajpai, to create his outfit, following an open call that received 4,000 submissions.
