Equipment Fit AR allows customers to virtually place 3D models of equipment on their jobsite via mobile devices, helping contractors assess dimensions, confirm fit in tight spaces, and plan placement more effectively. Both tools were developed using direct feedback from contractors and operations teams to anticipate customer needs and improve productivity. These digital innovations build on United Rentals’ existing capabilities that enable seamless browsing, reservation, and management of equipment rentals from any device, positioning the company as a tech-driven leader in the equipment rental industry.
