Purdue Football Secures Multiple Transfers, Including Ex-Monmouth Edge Rusher

Purdue football continues to overhaul its roster under coach Barry Odom, recently securing several transfer portal additions including former UConn kicker/punter Seth Turner and Monmouth defensive end Miles Mitchell. Turner, who did not appear in games at UConn, adds depth to special teams, while Mitchell brings experience as a starter and All-CAA honorable mention, joining after a productive career at Monmouth. Mitchell is the second edge rusher and the 23rd overall transfer to join Purdue this spring, reflecting significant roster turnover. The Boilermakers have also added other transfers like Breylon Charles from North Texas and have seen changes in their coaching staff, with former quarterback Austin Appleby returning as an offensive staff member.
