Israel Claims Hezbollah Missile Capacity Reduced to 20%

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that Hezbollah's rocket capabilities have been reduced to approximately 20% of their pre-war levels, following ongoing military operations in Lebanon. He emphasized that the IDF has effectively dismantled Hezbollah's command structure and that the group can no longer organize large-scale volleys of fire. Prior to the conflict, Hezbollah was estimated to have around 50,000 rockets, which has now decreased to about 10,000. The Israeli government aims to ensure the safe return of over 60,000 evacuated residents of northern Israel, which remains a key objective of the military campaign. Although Gallant noted Hezbollah's diminished capacity, he acknowledged that the group still poses a formidable threat. The conflict is expected to continue, with discussions around a potential diplomatic resolution by the end of the year.
