Suffolk Firefighters Rescue French Bulldog from Underground Pipe
A two-year-old French bulldog named Moose was rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped in a drain pipe about a meter underground near Sudbury, Suffolk. The incident occurred when Moose dashed into the pipe while his owners were gardening, prompting them to call for help after they were unable to coax him out. Fire crews used a digger to remove soil and then cut into the pipe to safely extract the dog, completing the rescue in about an hour and a half. Moose was uninjured and reportedly 'came out like nothing had happened,' delighting his relieved owners and the firefighters. The owners praised the quick and effective response of the fire service, describing the outcome as a happy ending.
