Air India Urination Incident Under Investigation
An incident on Air India flight AI2336 from Delhi to Bangkok involved a passenger, Tushar Masand, allegedly urinating on another passenger, Hiroshi Yoshizane, a senior executive from Bridgestone India, during descent. The crew acted by relocating Masand and providing assistance to Yoshizane, who declined to file a formal complaint, not wishing to delay his plans. The airline reported the matter to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and promised an investigation, with a standing Independent Committee assessing any necessary disciplinary actions. Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu assured that the ministry would review the incident and take appropriate action if misconduct is confirmed. This incident has drawn attention to previous similar occurrences on Air India flights involving unruly behavior.
