During the New York Comic Con panel, cast members including Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, and Robert Kazinsky discussed the film's premise and revealed character details, including Rohl's role as a young Rachel Garrett. The film promises a mix of glitz and espionage, showcasing Georgiou's chaotic influence within the morally ambiguous realm of Starfleet's black ops. Yeoh participated via video, expressing excitement for the project, which is directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi and produced by CBS Studios. Teaser art for the film was also unveiled during the event, generating buzz among 'Star Trek' fans.
