The new "Encore" uniforms include horizontal striping, a "Washington" wordmark, and a silhouette of the Washington Monument, blending throwback elements with modern design. The shorts feature the "DMV" regional logo, marking the first time a major professional team has included this descriptor on their uniforms. These uniforms will debut on November 16 against the Brooklyn Nets and will be worn 29 times throughout the season. The design is part of Nike's "Remix" campaign, aimed at revamping past City Edition jerseys with fresh color schemes, and is intended to symbolize confidence and ambition for the Wizards' upcoming season.
