Evander Kane Out 4-8 Weeks After Knee Surgery

Evander Kane, a forward for the Edmonton Oilers, underwent knee surgery on Thursday and is expected to be out for 4-8 weeks. This surgery is unrelated to the abdominal surgery he had in September, which had already sidelined him for the current NHL season, causing him to pause his rehabilitation from the previous surgery. Last season, Kane scored 44 points during the regular season and helped the Oilers reach the Stanley Cup final with eight points in the playoffs.
