Sony Updates PlayStation Portal with Cloud Gaming

Sony has introduced a significant update to the PlayStation Portal, enabling cloud gaming for PlayStation Plus Premium members without the need for a PS5 console. This update allows users to stream over 120 PS5 games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, such as 'Ghost of Tsushima' and 'Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales', directly to the handheld device. The PlayStation Portal now supports 1080p resolution at 60 fps, provided the internet connection meets the minimum requirement of 13 Mbps, though some features like Game Trials and 3D audio are unavailable during the beta. Initially available in Europe, this feature will expand to other regions, marking a step towards a more portable PlayStation experience.
