Los Angeles Police Seek Additional Victims in Elderly Kidnappings

Los Angeles police are investigating a series of kidnappings and robberies targeting elderly victims, which occurred between June and November in South Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, and MacArthur Park. Two suspects, who have been apprehended, engaged victims in conversation, often claiming to be affiliated with a church, before threatening them with a handgun and demanding money or jewelry. The LAPD has released images of the gray Ford Focus used in the crimes and is urging any additional victims or witnesses to come forward. Detectives believe there may be more victims who have not yet reported the incidents. Tips can be provided anonymously to the LAPD or Crime Stoppers. The police emphasize the importance of public assistance in identifying potential victims and gathering further information about the crimes.
