Marlins Partner with Cordish for Miami Live!

The Miami Marlins have announced a partnership with The Cordish Companies to develop Miami Live!, an innovative entertainment destination at loanDepot Park, slated to open in early 2026. This development aims to enhance the ballpark experience with a mix of indoor and outdoor dining and entertainment spaces, along with year-round community programming designed to engage people of all ages. The project represents a significant investment in the local community, creating over 200 jobs in skilled trades, marketing, and operations. Marlins Chairman Bruce Sherman emphasized the project’s commitment to community connection and entertainment, while Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava highlighted its zero-cost impact on taxpayers. This privately financed initiative follows the Marlins' previous public funding controversies regarding the stadium's construction costs. Miami Live! is expected to transform the West Plaza into a vibrant hub for residents and visitors.
