Archy Raises $20M Series B to AI-Automate Dental Practices at Scale

Archy, an AI startup founded by former Uber and Meta product leader Jonathan Rat, has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round led by TCV with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, CRV, Entrée Capital, and 25 practicing dentists. The company aims to replace the outdated, disconnected software systems used by most dental practices, which typically cause inefficiencies, errors, and burnout by requiring manual work such as calling insurers and retyping data. Archy's cloud-based platform integrates scheduling, charting, billing, insurance claims, patient messaging, and payments into a single system, layered with AI agents that automate tasks like insurance eligibility verification, claim submissions, collections, and clinical note-taking. This approach has helped dental offices save about 80 hours per month, reduce IT costs, and improve efficiency, with the platform already processing over $100 million in payments annually and growing at 300% year-over-year. Archy plans to use the new funding to expand its engineering, AI, and go-to-market teams while continuing to develop tools that turn staffing challenges into competitive advantages. Customers such as DeChellis & Stonestreet Dentistry praise the platform for simplifying multi-office management and rapidly training staff across age groups.
