EHang Reports 44% Q2 Revenue Growth, Adjusts 2025 Guidance

EHang Holdings reported strong second-quarter 2025 financial results, with revenue increasing 44% year-over-year to RMB147.2 million and a sequential growth of 4.6 times, driven by sales of its EH216 series eVTOL aircraft. The company delivered 68 units and signed over 150 firm purchase agreements, primarily from domestic clients, while strategically moderating full-year revenue guidance to RMB500 million to focus on operational safety and readiness rather than rapid deliveries. EHang is transitioning to a dual business model that combines manufacturing with operational services, including customer support and operator training, aiming for sustainable commercialization amid regulatory challenges. Despite rising operating expenses and a slight increase in net loss due to investments in R&D and staffing, the company maintained a strong gross margin of 62.6% and raised over $23 million through equity offerings to support expansion. Additionally, EHang launched trial commercial operations in Guangzhou and Hefei and established a VT35 series product hub in Hefei in collaboration with local government, solidifying its position in the urban air mobility sector.
