Tom Lockyer Returns to Training Post-Cardiac Arrest

Luton Town captain Tom Lockyer has returned to training after suffering a cardiac arrest during a Premier League match in December, where he was 'technically dead' for nearly three minutes and has since been fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator. This was the second such incident for Lockyer, who previously collapsed during the Championship play-off final against Coventry in May 2023. Under the guidance of consultants in London and Amsterdam, Lockyer is now focusing on his rehabilitation while continuing his work with the British Heart Foundation to raise awareness about CPR and the use of defibrillators.
