Another tradition, Masan Holi, observed in Varanasi, is a unique celebration involving ashes from cremation grounds, focusing on life's transient nature and spiritual purification. Meanwhile, the Tamil festival Masi Magam is celebrated with sacred water rituals, emphasizing purification and spiritual blessings.
