Bus Crashes into Home During Police Chase

A Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus crashed into a home in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood on Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle fleeing from police. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Hamilton Avenue near Durango Way. The bus driver and a passenger were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other seven passengers and the homeowner were unharmed. The porch of the home was destroyed, but the house remains structurally intact. The driver of the fleeing vehicle remains at large. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and investigations are ongoing.
