Palantir Boosts 2025 Outlook on AI, Defense Demand
Palantir Technologies reported second-quarter results that beat Wall Street expectations, with adjusted earnings per share of $0.16 on $1 billion in revenue. Driven by record contract wins and strong growth in both U.S. commercial and government segments, the company raised its full-year 2025 revenue forecast to $4.14–$4.15 billion. Palantir now projects its U.S. commercial revenue will surpass $1.302 billion, and it has also revised upward its adjusted free cash flow and operating income guidance. The company credits its performance to growing adoption of its AI platforms and major new contracts, including a potential $10 billion U.S. Army deal. Palantir's stock has more than doubled this year due to optimism over its position in AI and defense tech. Analysts have raised their price targets, seeing Palantir as a foundational AI platform, though some note that other AI stocks might offer greater upside.
