Flexjet Orders $7B Jet Fleet from Embraer, Doubling Size
Flexjet has entered into a historic purchase agreement with Embraer, valued at up to $7 billion, which marks the largest order in both companies' histories. The deal includes firm orders for 182 aircraft, alongside options for an additional 30, featuring Embraer's Praetor 600, Praetor 500, and the upgraded Phenom 300E models. This agreement is set to nearly double Flexjet's fleet over the next five years and reinforces the longstanding partnership between the two companies, which dates back to 2003. Embraer highlighted that this order solidifies its leadership in the executive jet market and enhances its strategic ties with Flexjet. The commitment reflects significant growth potential for both companies as Flexjet expands its global presence while Embraer continues to deliver innovative aviation solutions. This development is expected to have positive implications for stakeholders in both firms as they adapt to the increasing demand in private aviation.
