Oshkosh Police Investigate Two Separate Shooting Incidents

Oshkosh police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred on March 11. The first incident happened around 5:45 p.m. on Cherry Street, where officers found a handgun and marijuana in a vehicle after responding to reports of gunshots. A 19-year-old man from Neenah and a 16-year-old boy from Oshkosh were taken into custody, while another suspect fled the scene. Later that night, around 10:35 p.m., shots were fired at a residence on Dove Street by an unknown assailant who escaped in a vehicle. No injuries were reported in either incident, and it remains unclear if the two shootings are connected. The Oshkosh Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward.
