CISA Reports 201% Growth in Cyber Hygiene Enrollment

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has reported a significant increase in enrollment for its Cyber Hygiene (CyHy) service, with nearly 7,800 critical infrastructure organizations participating from August 2022 to August 2024, reflecting a 201% growth. The communications sector saw the highest enrollment increase, followed by emergency services and critical manufacturing. This surge in participation has been linked to improvements in CISA's cybersecurity performance goals, including a reduction in exploitable services and known exploited vulnerability tickets.
