Judge Grants Baldoni Access to Lively–Swift Texts

A New York judge, Lewis Liman, has ruled that Justin Baldoni may access text messages between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift regarding the work environment on the set of 'It Ends With Us,' despite Lively's objections. Lively identified Swift as someone with relevant knowledge, while her team argued Swift's involvement was minimal and limited to licensing a song for the film. Baldoni, who faces sexual harassment and retaliation claims from Lively, sought the texts to address those allegations. Judge Liman found the request 'reasonably tailored' and imposed a protective order to prevent public disclosure. Baldoni's major countersuits have been dismissed, and the legal dispute has strained Lively and Swift's longstanding friendship. Swift's spokesperson emphasized her lack of direct involvement, and both sides have accused each other of exploiting the case's publicity.
