Paris 2024 Olympic Medals to be Replaced

The replacement process is expected to begin in the coming weeks, with the Monnaie de Paris refuting the term 'defective' but confirming that damaged medals will be systematically replaced. The medals, designed by Chaumet, incorporated materials from the Eiffel Tower, but issues arose after new regulations altered the varnishing process used in their production.
