Three Men Charged With First-Degree Murder In Willingboro Shooting Death

Authorities in Burlington County have charged three men in the Aug. 10 fatal shooting of 43-year-old Bruce Hall Jr., who was found shot inside a parked pickup near Paddock Lane and Poppy Turn in Willingboro (Pennypacker Park). Elijah B. Ervin, 33, was arrested Aug. 12; Shaheed L. Ervin, 39, was arrested Aug. 26; and Earl T. Johnson, 29, was arrested Sept. 17 in Philadelphia and is awaiting extradition. All three face first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder charges, and prosecutors say they also face weapons-related charges including unlawful possession and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The Ervins have been ordered detained at the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly, while Johnson remains at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Philadelphia pending transfer. The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and Willingboro Police led the investigation with assistance from state and federal agencies.
