Norwegian Cruise Line Christens Norwegian Aqua in Miami

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) celebrated the christening of its newest ship, the Norwegian Aqua, at PortMiami, with over 2,000 guests in attendance. The ceremony, led by actor Eric Stonestreet, who serves as the ship's godfather, included a preview of the onboard production 'Revolution: A Celebration of Prince.' NCL President David J. Following the christening, NCL announced plans to enhance its private island, Great Stirrup Cay, with new attractions set to debut in late 2025. The Norwegian Aqua will begin sailing round-trip Caribbean cruises from Miami in late 2026, with a full schedule of various destinations.
