Tree Kills Man, Injures Pastor After Toledo Bible Study

A tragic accident in Toledo, Ohio, occurred when a tree and power lines fell onto a vehicle stopped at a traffic light on Secor Road as its occupants were returning home from Bible study. Richard Miller, 35, was killed at the scene, and the driver, Pastor Andrew Edwards of Northwest Baptist Church, suffered serious injuries including fractures and a brain bleed but remains in stable and responsive condition. The incident happened after Pastor Edwards had dropped off another church member. Two other vehicles were damaged, though no one else was hurt. The church and local community have asked for prayers, and the church has announced a funeral service for Miller on April 26. City officials stated the tree was on private property and had no prior complaints.
