Jayden Daniels Sets Rookie Completion Record in Victory

Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels made a stunning NFL debut as he led the Washington Commanders to a 38-33 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. Completing 21 of 23 passes for 254 yards, Daniels set a new NFL rookie record with a 91.3% completion rate. He threw two touchdown passes, the first to offensive lineman Trent Scott and the second a game-sealing 27-yarder to Terry McLaurin. In addition to his passing performance, he rushed for a touchdown, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities. The Commanders scored on every possession except for kneel-downs and have not turned the ball over in their last two games. Meanwhile, the Bengals fell to 0-3, marking their worst start since 2019.
