Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis will star in 'Scarpetta', a new series based on Patricia Cornwell's bestselling novels, with Prime Video greenlighting two seasons. Kidman takes on the role of Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a chief medical examiner, while Curtis plays her sister, Dorothy, exploring their complex relationship. The ensemble cast includes Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, Rosy McEwen, and Jake Cannavale. Liz Sarnoff serves as showrunner, with David Gordon Green directing the first two episodes.
