Iowa State softball breaks records with four all-Big 12 selections

Iowa State softball is experiencing a historic season, earning a program-record four nominations for all-Big 12 Conference teams, with Jessie Clemons becoming the first unanimous first team selection since 2017. The Cyclones, led by a youthful roster and overcoming early injuries, achieved their best-ever Big 12 finish and exceeded expectations after being picked to finish 10th preseason. Senior leader Angelina Allen, who previously earned All-American honors, praised the team's growth and resilience. Iowa State will compete in the Big 12 Championship quarterfinals, reflecting a bright future for the program under coach Jamie Pinkerton, who has now led the team to three 30-win seasons.
