Benson Boone Debuts on SNL, Serenades Host Quinta Brunson
Quinta Brunson hosted Saturday Night Live for the second time, opening the show with a musical monologue celebrating the joys of being short, joined in a surprise cameo by pop star Sabrina Carpenter, who playfully riffed on the theme. Benson Boone made his SNL debut as the musical guest, performing his singles 'Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else'—which he began with an acrobatic flip and a brief serenade to Brunson—and 'Mystical Magical.' The episode featured lighthearted interactions between Brunson and Boone, as well as Carpenter's comedic celebration of short celebrities. Boone also appeared in a Weekend Update sketch as an Applebee’s server, showcasing his comedic side. Both Boone and Carpenter were recently nominated for Best New Artist at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Boone’s appearance follows his Coachella debut and comes ahead of his upcoming album release.
