Employee Arrested for Hidden Camera in Mall Bathroom

Bernardo Pellicer-Dorta, a 38-year-old employee at The Cosmetics Company Store in Dolphin Mall, was arrested after allegedly planting a hidden camera pen in the staff restroom to record colleagues. The device was found by a female sales associate in a cleaning supply cart, positioned to capture footage of the toilet area. Police reviewed video evidence that showed Pellicer-Dorta deliberately placing the pen, contradicting his claim that it accidentally fell from his jacket. When confronted, Pellicer-Dorta admitted owning the pen but initially said he only meant to record coworkers' conversations due to fears of being fired. He faces two counts of video voyeurism and one count of battery after trying to forcibly retrieve the pen from the employee who discovered it.
