Blink Charging Launches Shasta Level 2 EV Chargers for Fleet Multifamily Markets
Blink Charging Co. has launched the Shasta line of Level 2 electric vehicle chargers, specifically designed for multifamily residences and fleet operations, emphasizing affordability, scalability, and intelligent remote management. The Shasta 48 and Shasta 80 models deliver up to 11.5kW and 19.2kW, respectively, and incorporate advanced safety features like environmental sensors and tamper alerts, supporting reliable operation across diverse settings. These chargers, developed from Blink's acquisition of Zemetric, integrate seamlessly into Blink's cloud-based network platform, allowing operators to efficiently manage energy usage, monitor performance, and scale deployments. Shipments are scheduled to begin in late November 2025, reinforcing Blink's commitment to expanding accessible, high-performance EV charging solutions for key growth markets. Mike Battaglia, Blink's President and CEO, highlighted that the Shasta line complements the company's existing offerings by providing tailored, cost-effective charging solutions to meet the specific needs of multifamily and fleet customers. This strategic product expansion supports broader EV adoption by addressing the unique operational demands of large-scale and shared charging environments.
