Parvati Shallow, a four-time Survivor competitor, has come out as queer and announced her relationship with comedian Mae Martin on December 30. The news was received positively, especially by Survivor alumni. Shallow, known for her win on Survivor, was previously married to fellow Survivor alum John Fincher. However, they filed for divorce in August 2021, with Shallow citing domestic violence issues, which Fincher denies. Mae Martin is a BAFTA-winning actor, notable for their role in the Netflix series Feel Good.
