French Directors Charged Over Sexual Abuse Claims

French film directors Benoit Jacquot and Jacques Doillon have been charged and questioned, respectively, over allegations of sexual abuse, including rape, made by multiple actresses as part of France's #MeToo movement. Jacquot faces charges for raping actresses Julia Roy and Isild Le Besco, and is accused by Judith Godreche of raping her when she was 14. Doillon has been accused by Godreche of sexual assault during the filming of 'The 15 Year Old Girl.' Both directors deny the allegations.
