Wales' Stevie Williams secured consecutive stage victories in the Tour of Britain, winning stages two and three. Stage two saw Williams outsprint Julian Alaphilippe and Oscar Onley in Redcar, increasing his overall lead to six seconds. In stage three, Williams narrowly beat Paul Magnier after a 166.1km hilly route from Sheffield to Barnsley, extending his lead to 16 seconds over Onley. Williams, riding for Israel-Premier Tech, now holds the green leader's jersey with two stages remaining in the UK's biggest cycling race. Callum Thornley leads the 'King of the Mountains' standings with 50 points. The race is set to conclude in Felixstowe, Suffolk, on Sunday.
