Bank Robbery Suspect Shot by Police in Covington

A bank robbery suspect, identified as Charles Davis, was shot by Covington police officers on Friday afternoon during an attempt to detain him following reports of an armed robbery at a U.S. Bank. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. near the bank on Madison Avenue, where officers encountered Davis less than a block away. Witnesses described a chaotic scene with gunfire erupting as officers commanded the suspect to drop his weapon. Davis was taken to UC Medical Center with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, and he is currently in stable condition.
