Sucker Punch Announces Ghost of Yōtei Sequel

Sucker Punch Productions has announced 'Ghost of Yōtei', a sequel to the acclaimed 'Ghost of Tsushima' during Sony's State of Play. Set in 1603, 300 years after the original, the game introduces a new protagonist, Atsu, exploring the lands around Mount Yōtei in Ezo, now Hokkaido. Unlike its predecessor, 'Ghost of Yōtei' will not continue Jin Sakai's story but will deliver fresh narratives, new mechanics, and a female lead. Built specifically for PS5, it promises improved graphics, vast environments, and innovative gameplay features. The sequel is expected to release in 2025.
