Anti-whaling activist arrested

The Captain Paul Watson Foundation expressed shock at the arrest, claiming that the Red Notice had been withdrawn, but now suspects it was made confidential to facilitate his apprehension. Watson's detention will last until a court decides on his extradition to Japan, where he faces charges related to his anti-whaling interventions. His foundation is urging the Danish government to reject Japan's extradition request, labeling it politically motivated and calling for his immediate release.
