Nothing Before Coffee Raises $2.3M, Plans 150+ Stores by FY26
Nothing Before Coffee (NBC), a Jaipur-based quick service restaurant coffee chain, has successfully raised $2.3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Prath Ventures, with participation from SYL Investments. This funding will facilitate NBC's expansion into Tier-II and Tier-III cities in India, where premium coffee chains are less prevalent. Founded in 2017, NBC operates over 85 outlets and aims to provide high-quality, affordable coffee in vibrant settings that appeal to young consumers. The company reported its best financial year in FY2025, driven by innovative beverages and strong customer loyalty, including its unique 'Shrappe' drink. NBC plans to utilize the new capital to open over 150 stores by FY2026, enhance its digital platforms, and optimize its supply chain. Co-founder Ankesh Jain highlighted that this funding validates their vision of affordability and cultural relevance in India's evolving café market.
