Lil Baby Hosts Fifth Annual Back-to-School Fest Helping Over 4,000 Atlanta Students
Rapper Lil Baby, through his nonprofit The Jones Project, hosted the fifth annual Back to School Fest in Atlanta’s West End, providing over 4,000 children and families with free school supplies, uniforms, shoes, haircuts, and meals. The event transformed West End Production Park into a vibrant festival with activities such as carnival rides, bounce houses, games, and face painting, supported by partners including The Jessie Rose Project, The Athlete’s Foot, Zaxby’s, and others. City leaders, including Atlanta City Council members and representatives from the Atlanta Board of Education, attended to support the initiative. Since launching the fest in 2021, Lil Baby has remained dedicated to uplifting his hometown youth by eliminating financial barriers and fostering community empowerment. Despite his busy music career and global fame, Lil Baby continues to prioritize giving back to his community, emphasizing the importance of providing essential resources to prevent children from being held back by a lack of supplies. Attendees and parents praised his genuine involvement, noting his consistent presence and commitment to the neighborhood beyond just financial contributions.
