Daisy Ridley is set to star in "Killa Bee," a biopic about Bryony Tyrell, a mother of two who balanced working in the ICU of the UK’s National Health Service with becoming a prominent MMA fighter. Tyrell, who holds a master’s degree in nursing and a degree in molecular biology, began kickboxing at university, achieving black belt status before transitioning into professional mixed martial arts, competing with notable promotions like Cage Warriors and Bellator. The film, written by Ruth Sewell and directed by Kenton Oxley—Tyrell's longtime friend—will explore her journey of courage and resilience, with Tyrell actively consulting to ensure emotional truth and creative integrity.
