Massage Therapists Charged in Separate Assault Cases

Guosheng Chen, a 47-year-old massage therapist from Hayward, was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a client during a therapy session in Millbrae, California on December 22. Authorities suspect there may be additional unidentified victims, as Chen has worked in multiple counties including San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Diego. He is currently held on $400,000 bail and was scheduled for a court appearance. In a separate incident in Calgary, a massage therapist named Lev Borstov has been charged with assaulting a client by choking her during a session in January 2023. Borstov, who had been practicing with an expired license since 2015, is due in court on January 8. Both cases highlight the need for community involvement in reporting and investigating such allegations.
