The 2024 Nikon Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, known for showcasing humorous wildlife photographs, concluded with Milko Marchetti winning the top prize for his comical image titled 'Stuck Squirrel,' which depicts a red squirrel amusingly wedged in a tree. This year's competition saw a record-breaking 9,000 entries from both professional and amateur photographers. Judges praised Marchetti's image for its humor and timing, highlighting its ability to evoke laughter. The Awards Night took place at the Oxo Gallery in London, emphasizing the competition's role in promoting wildlife conservation through a lighthearted lens. Alongside the overall winner, nine category champions were recognized, including young talents. The winning photos will be exhibited in London from December 11 to December 15.
