Eric Allen and Fred Taylor Hall of Fame Finalists
Eric Allen, a former cornerback for the Raiders, has been named a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025. Allen, who played his final four NFL seasons with the Raiders, has one more chance through the modern-era selection process if not selected this year. Similarly, Jacksonville Jaguars legend Fred Taylor is also a finalist for the 2025 Hall of Fame class, marking his second year as a finalist and sixth time as a semifinalist. Taylor, the Jaguars' all-time leading rusher, recorded 11,695 rushing yards, placing him 17th in NFL history, and is the only eligible running back in this year's class. The Hall of Fame's Selection Committee will choose up to five players from the 15 finalists, with the results announced during the NFL Honors show on February 6. Both Allen and Taylor are strong candidates, with notable career achievements that have kept them in contention for this prestigious recognition.
