Poulin Wins PWHL MVP, Fillier Named Rookie of Year
Montreal Victoire captain Marie-Philip Poulin was named the PWHL's Billie Jean King MVP and Forward of the Year for the 2024-25 season, after leading the league with 19 goals and helping her team achieve regular-season success. Poulin outpaced finalists Hilary Knight and Renata Fast for MVP, while also besting New York rookie Sarah Fillier for Forward of the Year honors. Victoire goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens won Goaltender of the Year, and Toronto's Renata Fast was named Defender of the Year. New York's Sarah Fillier captured Rookie of the Year after tying for the league lead in points. Victoire's Laura Stacey received the Hockey for All Award for community impact, and coach Kori Cheverie was named Coach of the Year. First Team All-Star selections included Poulin, Knight, Fast, Fillier, Desbiens, and Minnesota’s Sophie Jaques.
