Multiple Serious Vehicle Crashes Prompt Airlifts in Alabama, Maryland, Ohio

Several serious vehicle accidents requiring air medical transport occurred across different states in early July 2025. Ohio experienced two multi-vehicle crashes near Lakeview; one on July 3 involved a semi and three other vehicles, where a female driver was extricated and flown to a Columbus hospital, and another three-vehicle crash on July 4 left one woman seriously injured and hospitalized.
